So which should you use?
Blender is the free, open-source desktop 3D suite — modeling, sculpting, UVs, rigging, simulation, compositing, video editing and two renderers, with a vast add-on ecosystem behind it.

That is a real modeling program and a small fraction of Blender's surface, and both of those things are true at once.
