CC0 3D assets
CC0 puts an asset in the public domain: you can use it in commercial work, change it and ship it without crediting anyone. Mixos gathers 2,600+ CC0 PBR materials, hundreds of textured GLB models and a library of HDRIs in one place, each credited to its original source.

Why Mixos
CC0 is Creative Commons' public-domain dedication. The creator waives their copyright as far as the law allows, so anyone can copy, modify, sell and redistribute the work without asking permission or giving credit. For 3D artists that means a CC0 texture, model or HDRI can go into a commercial game, a client render, a product shot or a template you sell.
CC0 covers the creator's copyright in the asset, not every right that could touch it. It does not grant trademark or patent rights, so a model of a branded product is still a branded product. The asset is also provided as-is, without warranty. When something matters, check the source page each asset links to.
Crediting is not required, but it is good practice, and every asset in the Mixos libraries names where it came from. Poly Haven and ambientCG are the largest sources; both publish their whole catalogues under CC0.
The libraries are free to browse. Models and HDRIs download without an account; texture downloads need a free one. Any material can also be opened in Mixos Paint, the browser texture editor, so you can change it or paint it onto your own mesh instead of downloading a file and starting over.

CC0 is a Creative Commons tool that dedicates a work to the public domain. The creator gives up their copyright as far as the law allows, so you can use, change and share the work for any purpose without permission or attribution.
Yes. CC0 places no restriction on commercial use, so you can use CC0 textures, models and HDRIs in games, client work, renders and products you sell. Trademarks shown in an asset are a separate matter that CC0 does not cover.
No, CC0 does not require attribution. Crediting the source is still appreciated, and each asset in the Mixos libraries names where it came from so you can.

Yes — CC0 allows any change. Open a material in Mixos Paint to change its tiling, colour or roughness, layer it with others or paint it onto your own model. Editing is free; exporting the edited maps is on a paid plan, while the original files stay free to download.
