Turn a logo into something you can print.

One solid, not loose pieces

The colour layers overlap by default, so the STL comes out as a single connected body rather than a pile of parts that fall off the plate. Push the gap past the thickness and they separate — that is the one setting that breaks a print, and the app says so where you set it.

Raised layers, from flat art

The mark separates into flat colour regions and each one is extruded and stacked in depth, so a two-colour badge prints as a base plate with the emblem standing proud of it. No CAD, and no extruding curves by hand.

An edge that actually prints

A rounded edge is a real bevel on the geometry, not a shader trick — so it survives the slicer and shows up in the print. Thickness and edge radius are both live: drag them and the mesh rebuilds under your finger.

From a flat logo to a printable model

Most logos start life as flat artwork — a PNG from a designer, an SVG from a brand kit, or a mark somebody drew once and never got a source file for. An SVG opens free and needs no account; a PNG or JPEG needs an account and one credit. If you have no mark at all yet, describe one and the AI logo maker draws nine concepts to choose between. Either way the result is flat, and flat is not printable on its own: a slicer needs a closed solid with real thickness, and a picture has neither.

The usual route is to open a CAD package, redraw the outline by hand, and extrude it. That works, and it is a strange amount of software to install to put a shop name on a keyring. This does that part for you: the artwork is separated into flat colour regions in the browser, each region becomes a closed outline, and each outline is extruded to a thickness you set.

Because the colours are separated rather than flattened, a layered mark prints as a layered object. A badge with a dark plate and a light emblem comes out as a plate with the emblem raised off it, which is what makes a printed logo read at arm's length — a single flat extrusion of the whole silhouette loses exactly that.

Artwork with a few solid colours and clean edges gives the cleanest result. A photograph or a heavy gradient is reduced to a small palette, so it comes back posterised into bands rather than keeping its shading — usable, but a logo drawn as flat shapes is what this is for.

Frequently asked questions

What file do I get?

An STL, which is what slicers and CAD packages read — the triangles are merged into a single solid. You can also export a GLB if you want the colours to travel with the model.

How do I set the size in millimetres?

Scale it in your slicer. The model exports at the proportions you designed, and your slicer is where you can see it against the actual build plate, so that is the honest place to choose a size.

Will it print as one piece?

Yes, by default — the layers overlap in depth so they fuse into one body. If you push the gap between colours past the thickness they will separate into loose parts, which the app warns about at the slider.

Can I print it in more than one colour?

Export the GLB rather than the STL: each colour layer is its own mesh with its own material, which is what a multi-material or AMS setup needs to assign filaments. For a single-extruder printer, the STL is one solid and you would paint or swap filament by height.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The 3D preview runs in the browser, on your own device. Making the model is free and needs no account when you start from a starter mark or an SVG; downloading the file needs a paid plan. Bringing in a PNG or JPEG is the one step that runs on AI, and it needs an account and one credit.

What if I only have a photo of the logo?

It will still work, but it comes back reduced to a small number of flat colours — so a photograph reads as flat bands rather than as shading. If you can get the original vector or a clean flat PNG, the outlines will be much sharper.
